Designing a Kitchen in a Grand New-Build Home

In this tutorial, I'm excited to share with you the unique design challenge I encountered in a grand new-build home - a kitchen that was too big. When it comes to kitchen design, having an ample space is usually desirable. However, in this case, the sheer size of the kitchen posed a challenge in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

To address this issue, I had to carefully plan the layout and create designated zones within the kitchen. By dividing the space into different areas, such as a cooking zone, a prep zone, and a dining area, we were able to optimize the functionality and flow of the kitchen.

Another important aspect of the design was to choose the right kitchen appliances and fixtures that would complement the scale of the space. Oversized kitchen islands and statement lighting fixtures were incorporated to create visual interest and balance in the room.
