Preserving the Old Charm

When renovating The Lakehouse, our main goal was to preserve its old charm while making it more comfortable for modern living. We wanted the exterior to still look old but have all the conveniences of a modern home.

To achieve this, we carefully selected materials and finishes that would blend seamlessly with the original design. For example, we chose reclaimed wood for the siding, giving it an authentic, weathered look. The windows were replaced with energy-efficient ones that closely resembled the original design.

By preserving the old charm of the house, we were able to create a unique blend of the past and the present, maintaining the historical significance of The Lakehouse.

State-of-the-Art Heating System

One of the major upgrades in The Lakehouse renovation was the installation of a state-of-the-art heating system. We wanted to ensure that the house would be warm and comfortable throughout the year, especially during the colder months.

After thorough research, we decided to go with a geothermal heating system. This system utilizes the constant temperature of the earth to heat and cool the house efficiently. Not only does it provide consistent temperatures, but it is also environmentally friendly.

The geothermal heating system was installed seamlessly into the house, with minimal impact on its aesthetics. We are thrilled with the results and the comfort it brings to The Lakehouse.
