Inspiration Behind the Project

While browsing a craft store, I stumbled upon beautiful candles and got inspired to create my own using flowers from my garden.

With a cost breakdown comparison, I found making these candles at home to be more affordable and personal.

Materials and Process

I sourced candle holders and votives from the dollar store, keeping costs low. The resin used was a floral setting resin for a clear finish.

Measuring the resin amount with water helped in perfecting the candle's design. Stirring the resin thoroughly is crucial for a successful outcome.

Adding Dried Flowers

Placing dried flowers in the resin requires patience as the gel time is around 12 hours. Adjusting the flowers during the gelling process ensures a beautiful final result.
