In this post, I share my May TBR (To Be Read) list and discuss the books I'm excited to read this month. Join me as I explore a variety of genres and dive into captivating stories. Check out my Instagram for more book recommendations and updates.
,,Let's begin with a genre that has always captivated my imagination - fantasy fiction. This month, I'm planning to dive into the magical worlds of 'A Court of Silver Flames' by Sarah J. Maas and 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' by TJ Klune.
'A Court of Silver Flames' is the latest installment in the 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' series. It follows the story of Nesta and Cassian as they navigate personal challenges and face new threats in the Faerie realm. Sarah J. Maas never fails to deliver an epic fantasy tale filled with romance, action, and intricate world-building.
On the other hand, 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' is a heartwarming and whimsical story about a caseworker named Linus Baker who is sent to evaluate an orphanage for magical children. As Linus spends time with the unique and lovable kids, he discovers the true meaning of love, acceptance, and belonging.
Both of these books promise to transport me to enchanting worlds and introduce me to unforgettable characters.

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
If you're a fan of gripping mysteries and thrilling suspense, then you'll love the next two books on my May TBR list. 'The Sanatorium' by Sarah Pearse and 'The Push' by Ashley Audrain are both highly anticipated releases in the mystery thriller genre.
'The Sanatorium' takes place in a remote hotel in the Swiss Alps that used to be a sanatorium. When detective Elin Warner arrives to celebrate her brother's engagement, she soon finds herself caught in a web of dark secrets and a murder investigation. This atmospheric and chilling novel will keep you on the edge of your seat.
On the other hand, 'The Push' explores the complexities of motherhood, family, and the haunting question of whether some children are born evil. Told from the perspective of a mother named Blythe, this psychological thriller delves into the dark side of mother-daughter relationships and the impact of trauma.
Both of these books promise to deliver suspenseful and twisty narratives that will leave you guessing until the end.
