,,Kick off your spring reading with some captivating fiction. One book I can't wait to dive into is 'The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue' by V.E. Schwab. This enchanting tale follows the life of Addie LaRue, who makes a Faustian bargain to live forever but is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets. It's a beautifully written story about love, identity, and the power of memory.
Another fiction recommendation is 'Klara and the Sun' by Kazuo Ishiguro. This thought-provoking novel explores the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, telling the story of Klara, an Artificial Friend who embarks on a journey to understand what it means to be human. Ishiguro's writing is always introspective and deeply moving, making this book a must-read.
If you're in the mood for a page-turning thriller, I highly recommend 'The Sanatorium' by Sarah Pearse. Set in a luxurious mountaintop hotel, this atmospheric thriller follows Elin Warner as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths. Full of twists and turns, 'The Sanatorium' will keep you on the edge of your seat.

In addition to fiction, I'm also looking forward to exploring some thought-provoking non-fiction books this spring. One book that has been highly recommended is 'Braiding Sweetgrass' by Robin Wall Kimmerer. This book weaves together indigenous wisdom, science, and storytelling to explore our relationship with nature. It's a powerful and beautifully written book that will make you see the world in a new light.
Another non-fiction recommendation is 'Four Hundred Souls: A Community History of African America, 1619-2019' edited by Ibram X. Kendi and Keisha N. Blain. This anthology brings together 90 different authors to tell the stories of African Americans from 1619 to 2019. It's a comprehensive and gripping account of the African American experience, shedding light on lesser-known historical events and figures.
