In this blog post, I discuss 11 book series that I have decided to not finish. Join me as I share my thoughts on these series and let me know if you think I should give them another chance!

The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

Firstly, let's talk about The Selection series by Kiera Cass. This series follows the main character, America Singer, as she competes for the hand of Prince Maxon in a dystopian society. Although the concept intrigued me, I found the writing and character development lacking.

Moving on, another series that I am giving up on is the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. This series is set in a future dystopian Chicago and follows the story of Tris Prior. While the first book was promising, I felt that the plot became convoluted and the characters lost their depth as the series progressed.

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare

Next on my list is The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. This urban fantasy series takes place in a world where supernatural beings coexist with humans. While I initially enjoyed the first few books, I found the series to be overly long and the plot repetitive. As a result, I have decided not to continue with it.

Another series that I am giving up on is the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. This dystopian young adult series has an interesting premise, but I found the writing style to be distracting and the love triangle to be frustrating.

The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner

Let's move on to The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. This dystopian science fiction series follows a group of teenagers as they navigate a deadly maze. While the first book had a thrilling premise, I felt that the series lost its momentum and became repetitive as it went on. Therefore, I have decided not to continue with this series.

Lastly, I have decided not to continue with the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. This fantasy series has a unique concept, but I found the plot to be predictable and the characters to be underdeveloped.
